Welcome To The Lunar Year

Welcome To The Lunar Year

The Year of Rabbit

At this annual time of new beginnings, ABChapri Retreats invites you to join us in celebrating a whole range of benign future possibilities: fun-filled feasts and family festivities at home, and further afield, the returned possibility of transformative travels for the good of mind, body and soul.

Perhaps the most colourful calendar belongs to the Chinese, who chart this 2022-2023 new year as the transition from the Year of the Tiger to the Year of the Rabbit. This is a highly auspicious transition, as the Rabbit, the fourth animal in the zodiac, is considered the most fortuitous of all – entailing better fortune, increased prosperity and happiness and more enjoyable cultural activities, including education and travel. Thus according to the ancient sages of the far East, there is a general rise in fortune and comfort in both work and life ahead. Going by the Chinese lunar calendar, this nourishing time begins with New Year on January 22nd 2023 and lasts until the next New Year’s eve, which falls on February 9th 2024.

So why not take advantage of this new beginning by giving your loved ones the holiday of a lifetime in one of our 4 small, intimate low-impact properties?

Whatever your tastes, make this time a new beginning - come and experience the unique world of ABChapri Retreats!
