Day 1:

Arrive at the beautiful city of Srinagar. At the airport our team from Sukoon will welcome you warmly with a garland of fresh flowers and assist you with your luggage and help you into the Air conditioned Toyota MUV. Once you are comfortable you shall be driven to Sukoon where you

will be welcomed with a drink and escorted to your well appointed living space in the houseboat. Before dusk you will be taken for a Shikara ride (Kashmiri Boat) to Dal Lake. After an enchanting evening at the Lake you will be escorted back to Sukoon where a delightful dinner awaits you. After supper you retire for the day in your room.

Day 2:

As you wake up bed tea shall be served to you at your behest. Once you have freshened up a hearty breakfast awaits you. Post breakfast we shall take you through a beautiful guided tour of the old city. The walk begins at Zaina Kadal, a bridge to the living, breathing museum of Islamic

architecture. Tramp through the old quarters of Srinagar to the grand mosque of Jami Masjid and later at the Shah Hamadan mosque. Lunch shall be indulged in at ‘Ahdoos’, an authentic Kashmiri restaurant in the old city. The Last stop on our itinerary is the Zaina Kadal Market to soak up the atmosphere of this typical local market. We will then aim to reach Shankarachariya Temple before sunset for the glorious view it offers. After sundown you will be escorted back to Sukoon where your shall have dinner and retire for the day.

Day 3:

Gear up for an adventure filled day ahead of you with bed tea and a hearty breakfast at Sukoon. We shall then drive to Sonmarg, the journey bringing us first to the 8th century Shiva Temple complex at Naranag, we then continue our journey and Lunch at Villa Himalaya, after lunch a

further 20 minutess drive and a15 minutes walk to the camp where you will be welcomed with cold/hot towels and a hot cup of tea, settle in your tent, which has a double or twin beds with comfortable mattress, Kashmiri carpets, and large windows to enjoy the fabulous views from your bed! Each tent has its own Toilet and shower tent just at the back. Dinner shall be served under the stars around a bonfire! An overnight at Sonmarg Sukoon Camp.

Day 4:

Our tradition of serving bed tea continues. After breakfast we take about 3 hours walk on the rolling hills to the Gujar (Nomad) Huts at upper Lichpather, as we ascend towards the huts the views get increasingly beautiful towards Sonmarg and across to the Thajawas glaciers. We shall

be graciously received by the Gujar family to enjoy a hot cup of salt tea! After a rather amusing experience of their humble lifestyle, we return back to our camp for hot lunch and then drive back to Srinagar which is a 2 hour drive and reach just after dusk for Dinner at Sukoon before you retire for the day reminiscing the adventurous experiences of the day. Enjoy walks to experience the tranquillity of nature and the colourful tribal culture

Day 5:

The tradition of waking up to a hot bed tea followed by breakfast continues and the day brings the promise of visiting the Mughal Gardens. A drive to the Gardens is a start to another eventful day of indulging in the Kashmiri experiences. Lunch shall be enjoyed at a local restaurant. Post Lunch you shall be guided to the Hazaratbal Mosque. We shall drive back to Sukoon for Dinner and a retire for the day.

Day 6:

After bed tea, you shall leave early in the morning for a half day trip to Dachigam National Park. Breakfast shall be served to you at the Park. We then continue our walking safari in the jungle for about 2 - 3 hours with an expert Guide. After the wildlife experience and sighting several rare

flora and fauna, have a picnic lunch at the park. Come home to Sukoon by evening for a farewell dinner at the deck accompanied by traditional concert by Kashmiri artists and rest in your abode.

Day 7:

Wake up to the sound of birds and bed tea served to you promptly at your waking hour. Freshen up and have breakfast at the Sundeck offering 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and lake. Bid adieu to the staff who are all genuinely sorry to see you leave. You will be assisted into the Toyota MUV along with your luggage and escorted to Srinagar Airport. The Sukoon Experience has been created as a haven where you can relax, revitalise and take stock of your life’s journey. It is a place for those who understand that there is more to life than its apparent surface.
